¶ Overview
The Voice Text Module allows you to connect a voice channel with a text channel. Once you connect a voice channel and a text channel together, Dyno will wait for users to join the voice channel. When they join, Dyno will grant them View Channel and Read Message History permissions in the text channel. When they leave the voice channel, those permissions will be revoked.
Voice text Linking is a Standard Premium feature.

Permissions Check
- Make sure Dyno has the following permissions in your linked text channel(s):
View ChannelManage PermissionsSend Messages
¶ How to set up Voice Text Linking
- Head over to your account and select your server.
- Click on the
Modulestab. - Ensure the
Voice Text Linkingmodule is enabled. - Click the
Settingsbutton underneath the Voice Text Linking module. - Select the
Voice ChannelandText Channelyou want to link together and selectAdd. - If you would like Dyno to send join/leave messages, enable the
Show Join/Leave Messagesoption and then set the messages underMessage Settingsand update both. - If you would like Dyno to purge your linked text channel whenever the linked voice channel is empty, enable the
Purge Channel When Emptyoption.
Please note:
- The View Channel permission for the
@everyonerole in the text channel must be turned off for this to work.
¶ How to remove a Voice Text Channel Link
- Follow the above guide to get to your Voice Text Linking module page.
- Once you’re there, scroll to “Channel Bindings” at the bottom of the page.
- If you have a text and voice channel linked together, they will appear in this list. Click the “Remove” button, and Dyno will remove the binding.
