Dyno’s prefix commands are being phased out in the near future. This includes all default commands starting with your server’s prefix (?help, !help, $ping etc.). In the near future, Dyno’s default commands will only be available as slash commands.
If you aren’t familiar with how they work, check out this Discord support article. But basically, just type / in the channel you want to use a command in and then select it. For example type /mute, select the Dyno command and then fill out the arguments that you want.
Prefix commands work through the Privileged “Message Content” Intent, which requires manual approval from Discord. Dyno also uses this intent for a lot of its other core features, so upon Discord’s request we have to remove prefix commands in order to align with their vision. Slash Commands have been Discord’s recommended way for bots to have commands since 2021.
In order to make this transition more seamless, we are going to be doing this in three phases:

The following two things are not changing, even after the October 13th cutoff date.
@Dyno cat, @Dyno help ban etc.).Nothing! All of Dyno’s prefix commands have had slash command counterparts for many years now, so the only thing you need to do is simply type / in a channel, and simply find the Dyno command you want to use!
