¶ Overview
The Reddit module allows you to subscribe to certain Subreddits. Once you subscribe to one, Dyno will automatically notify you of any new posts to the subscribed subreddit into a channel of your choice.

Permissions Check
- Make sure Dyno has the following permissions in your Reddit channel(s):
View ChannelManage WebhooksSend MessagesEmbed Links
¶ How to set up Reddit
- Head over to your account and select your server.
- Click on the
Modulestab. - Ensure the
Redditmodule is enabled. - Click the
Settingsbutton underneath the Reddit module. - For the
Channel To Postoption, select the text channel where you want new Reddit posts to be sent. - For the
Subredditoption, type the name of the subreddit that you want to subscribe to (withoutr/). - Select the message type, you can see what they look like below.
- Optionally, you can filter posts by their flair by typing in the name of the flair in the
Filter by flairoption. - Lastly, click the
Addbutton. Reddit posts will now be sent to your channel!
Please note:
- Subreddits are case sensitive.
- If the “Show Images” option is enabled, Dyno will show any images attached to the post.
- If the “Include NSFW” option is enabled, posts flagged as NSFW will be posted (they will still be blurred).

¶ Troubleshooting Steps
- Make sure Dyno has the permissions specified here.
- The subreddit field is case-sensitive, make sure that the subreddit is spelled correctly on the dashboard.
- Additionally make sure you did not include
r/in the subreddit field, you only need to type the name of the subreddit by itself. - In the channel you selected to post in, go to
Edit Channel > Integrationsand check if Dyno created a webhook in the channel. If not try deleting the reddit subscription from the dashboard and re-adding it to reset it so Dyno creates a new webhook in the channel.
